RETURNS / WARRANTY / DELIVERY / FEES​

 

Alloy Upgrades LTD want to be clear and upfront regarding how we conduct our business, what we expect from our customers and the procedures we follow. You will find information regarding this in our FAQ pages.

All alloy wheel set orders fulfilled by Alloy Upgrades LTD include non refundable administration and logistics charge of £40.00 (see below). Please note that postal surcharges on any items are non refundable.

1-3 Working days (UK Mainland) subject to service levels in your local area.

In some cases we can offer a SAME DAY / SAME NIGHT / EMERGENCY CALL OUT Delivery


We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery.

Any delivery cost listed as 'free' is actually included in the final sales price. We use the term 'free' to present to you an 'all inclusive' price, as your order total will already include the delivery charge and you do not have to pay anything on top of the displayed price to receive your order.

Our delivery pricing is for mainland locations only and not for islands or remote areas – please see FAQ page for more information. If you check out without confirming your location is included in our 'UK Mainland' postage, please note that additional pricing surcharge will be forwarded onto the customer, to be paid before order is fulfilled. If you are not sure please contact before ordering - we will always try to find the best delivery prices.

Please only order goods if your vehicle model is stated in our product description.

It is your responsibility to enter the contract based on all terms out laid on this website. If you are not sure of fitment, just ask - we won't sell you wheels that don't fit – its not worth wasting our efforts or yours, or putting our stock through the courier network twice.
All goods are double checked. A final check is done before dispatch or release of goods. Please allow for any discrepancies in the finish or signs of safety testing.

OUR COSTS 

In order to survive in the harsh world of online retail, and offer you great products at great prices, we must charge for this. It costs us money to administrate, pick, pack and dispatch your order.

All orders and purchases of alloy wheels with Alloy Upgrades LTD include a non refundable fixed rate charge of £40.00 per set of wheels - for administration and logistics involved in supplying goods to you. This covers checking & processing your order details, allocating your items from our stock lists, booking in your delivery with a courier, picking your order from the warehouse, opening & checking your items before dispatch or collection, followed by a) packing your order correctly to withstand the courier network then dropping off packed order to courier to give it the best chance of getting to you safely and on time or b) dedicating an appointment to view each wheel and offer an in person alloy wheel upgrade consultation.
As you can see, there is a long process involved in providing you with the items you order.

All goods to be returned, regardless of reason, are the responsibility of the person in possession of the goods (buyer) until we receive them into our possession. Please note that returns and cancellations cost us time and money - we must charge fees to cover this. Please see below for details on returns and cancellations which highlights the fees.

Please pack the items sufficiently - in order to be able to handle a return journey through the courier network safely, as any damage sustained in transit will be the responsibility of the sender/courier company. We will check and document all returns. Your refund amount will be your order total, minus a our administration and logistics fees that was already included in your order total. We will then base your final refund amount on the condition of the items returned. Returns are accepted within 14 days of an order being placed – this allows time for remorse whilst in transit and additional time when order arrives physically. 

CANCELLATION 


If you cancel after your order has been processed (regardless of payment being received in full or not), picked and packed or/and booked with a courier, but not yet dispatched - we will refund the order total you paid at checkout, minus £40.00 administration and logistics fee (as detailed above) that was already included in your order total.

If your order has already been processed, picked, packed, booked with courier and handed to the courier (in the courier network) then you will have to contact us immediately to initiate returns. Your refund will be the order total you paid at checkout, minus £40.00 administration and logistics fee (as detailed above) that was already included in your order total, minus either of the following;
A) 18” - 20” wheel set £49.99. or B) 21” - 22” wheel set £59.99

Postal surcharges (if you have paid additional postage for the courier to ship to your location) are non refundable as this is part of the couriers charge, and is added to the above A) or B).

Items collected or delivered in person will be refunded minus the £40.00 administration and logistics fee (as detailed above).

RETURNS

Please contact us to make us aware that you intend to return an item so that we can make arrangements to facilitate.
Our premises is to the public open by appointment. Our returns are in some instances relocated to our suppliers to authorise and can not be processed immediately (on the spot). We require prior communication regarding an inbound delivery ETA of your return so that we can ensure we are present at the time of your return. This is crucial for any courier deliveries as our warehouse is located behind a gated yard which has authorised access only. If we are unaware of an inbound return delivery, it could be missed and this will delay the returns process. Further more if a delivery is missed, the items will stay in the courier network and be subjected to unnecessary handling which increases the risk of damage in transit. Lets work together to get it right first time.

Any items to be returned must be in original packaging.


RETURNS FOR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

In the case of the rare, unfortunate event of damage in transit, we will work with you and the courier company to resolve any genuine issues as quick and efficiently as possible. Alloy Upgrades LTD will work as a 'middle person'.

Return costs must be covered by the buyer – however, the buyer will be reimbursed for this upon successful claim with courier company for damage in transit. Buyer must contact us first to make us aware that they intend to return an item.

Any damaged in transit items to be returned must be in original packaging. All returned items will be been checked by us to confirm damage was a result of transit, prior to forwarding claim to courier company.

Upon a successful claim with the courier company, the buyer will receive initial payment total (checkout total)  minus £40.00 administration and logistics fee (as detailed above) that was already included in your order total. All decisions are from the courier company.

Any false claims that are rejected by courier company or Alloy Upgrades LTD , that result in Alloy Upgrades LTD being in possession of your goods, will result in buyer being be liable for storage costs of £2.50 per box, per day until their goods are removed from our possession. You must liaise with Alloy Upgrades LTD in order to arrange collection of your goods.

Alloy Upgrades LTD will under no circumstances be held liable for any costs or inconveniences incurred during the fitting of your items or from use of incorrect or unsuitable equipment, or from your choice of installer. We always recommend receiving and checking the items before booking in any fitting as well as speaking to your chosen installer regarding the exact items you are ordering, for their opinion on their installation services - not all fitters carry the same experience, competence, attitude or willingness so please bare this in mind.

 

Customised, 'made to order' and bespoke item orders are non-returnable or refundable in any circumstances. 

​WARRANTY 

Warranty claims for items purchased on Alloy Upgrades LTD may require the items to be sent back to the manufacturer to assess and examine the product, in order to establish liability. Alloy Upgrades LTD will not be held liable for any costs incurred throughout the period of the claim. Any potential costs, for example courier fees (to send wheels to you) will be the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer should contact us to arrange returning an item to us so that we can forward it to the manufacturer (at our cost) for warranty inspection. Warranty inspection time frames can vary depending on the manufacturer's destination or choice of inspection method. We ask that items are presented to us clean as otherwise we may not be able to put send them to manufacturer (due to courier requirements) without cleaning them, which will add delays and a charge for the cost of cleaning. Any potential costs will be discussed and highlighted prior to proceeding.

Warranty is excluded on lacquered wheels due to the almost impossible task of keeping wheels ( wheels have a tough job navigating through various road surfaces and finishes) from being chipped by road imperfections whilst driving. Use of harsh chemicals or lack of maintenance will void any warranty under the case of neglect - you wouldn't use harsh chemicals on your car bonnet or leave heat baked on grime on there, so please don't do it to your wheels! Lacquered wheel finishes can and do last but require TLC and caution.
Warranty excludes misuse or neglect which transpires to damage. Warranty excludes accidental road hazard impact damage. Please drive according to your tyre profiles and road conditions to achieve longevity with the products. Simply put - If you look after your wheels - they will look after you.

Alloy Upgrades LTD is a re-seller and as such does not manufacture products sold or supplied.Items that have been used, for example for driven on, test fitting tyres or trail fitting onto a vehicle will be excluded from any returns. Change of mind returns where the goods are in a new and resalable condition by Alloy Upgrades LTD (we sell new wheels only) along with original undamaged packaging and any accessories included in sale, are accepted within 14 days subject to our fees listed above, for goods that have not been inspected, please call for returns address and authorisation code.

Please be honest and transparent with us so we can transparently advise you of the various solutions regarding any situations that may arise on your end, we understand things go wrong, we've have seen it all and resolved it all before too. We will always strive to find the fairest solution for both parties.
